The Mangrove Park in Abu Dhabi is the perfect place to escape the city and immerse yourself in nature.
Over 60 types of birds can be spotted here, including the greater flamingo and western reef heron, which are most visible during the breeding season from April to July.
The mangroves can be explored by kayak, stand-up paddleboard, or boat with one of the operators at the marina on the Eastern Mangrove Promenade.
