The main goal of this blog is to help you organise your own trips with useful information and links. We know how daunting it can be to navigate websites, prices, etc., so we’ve made a list of our favourite resources and the links we usually use to plan our trips. If we recommend a website, it’s because we truly believe they offer the best deals and we’ve used them extensively. We would never recommend something we haven’t tried or don’t consider useful!

Accomodation
It probably has the widest selection out there and offers great discounts—especially the more you use it, thanks to their Genius Program. For example, we’re now at Genius Level 3 and enjoy 15–25% off on selected hotels and stays! 😊
Another great option for booking trips! It’s a large travel search engine with a loyalty program similar to others, offering Silver, Gold, Platinum… status levels and the ability to accumulate Trip Coins for extra savings on future bookings.
Rental Cars
Our go-to when renting a car abroad. We’ve found it offers fair prices and ample availability in all the countries where we’ve needed it. Plus, if you book with your N26 card, you can enjoy an extra discount (check out our travel cards section for more details!).
Another solid option. It’s part of the Booking Group, so it’s reliable. It offers some great options and discounts to choose from. We used it a lot for our trip to Argentina, where finding a rental car was a bit of a challenge!
Flights
Definitely the most-used flight search engine. We use it to plan our routes and explore the options available. One of its standout features is the full month view, which lets you see when it’s cheaper to book a specific route.
In addition to accommodation, they also offer flights. We actually discovered this company through Skyscanner, and we check it regularly for flights, as they often have great deals, especially for Asian destinations.
e-sims
We absolutely love this company! We’ve used it countless times in many different countries—Sri Lanka, China, Eswatini, Japan… you name it, they have coverage! It’s super easy to use, and we’ve never had any issues activating SIM cards. Plus, topping up for more data is a breeze. A MUST-HAVE!

Travel Cards
There can never be enough travel cards to carry! We always have 2 or 3 on us, and believe me, it’s not because we’re paranoid. You don’t want to be in a country and not be able to withdraw cash because your only card won’t work. One of the cards we rely on is Revolut—we’ve been using it probably since their foundation. It offers great exchange rates, can be used to withdraw cash globally, and provides a range of extra perks and discounts. Plus, there’s an option to upgrade for travel insurance and other discounts and offers.
Similar to Revolut, N26 offers great exchange rates, instant transfers, and discounts with various brands. You can also withdraw cash globally with this card. We use both Revolut and N26 when we travel and strongly recommend having both, just in case one of them fails to work at a certain ATM due to local restrictions.
